Birthday Haul!

Hi girls!! 

Today I will show you the goodies I got for my Birthday!! I was so lucky getting what I got and please do not think I am trying to show off or anything, I just got some really interesting things, which means I obviously want to share them with you!!

So first up is the things that my lovely Robert got me! I would say about three years ago my Nintendo DS (the very very first one that came out!) broke, it was well loved and sadly the top half of the DS came off after a few accidental drops. I was desperate to get a new one and Robert bought me a Nintendo 3DS!! He picked the blue one, which is such a nice colour (sadly the 3DS does not come in pink!!? Why not Nintendo?!!) and he also got me the new Professor Layton and the Miracle Mask game, which is in 3D and the blue accessories pack, which comes with a case and lots of other goodies inside!

So yea this has been a bit of a distraction for me from my blog (which I spoke about here) in this past week! It is awesome though and the 3D effects are amazing!!

My lovely friends gave me a £30 Debenhams voucher, which I haven't spent yet and I can't wait to go buy some make up goodies!! Any one got any suggestions?!! They also got me a notebook and pencil from Paperchase, as one just opened in Glasgow city centre and I haven't been yet! This is a good thing though, as I have a thing for note books and would probably walk out of there with about 10!!! Haha! So lovely presents from my friends and very well though out!!

From my dad I got a £25 Nintendo card to spend on a game or two for my 3DS and he also gave me money to spend on what I liked (which you will see below). My mum bought me a pair of Dolce and Gabbana sunglasses!! Oh and I also got a big chocolate champagne bottle from Thortons, but Robert (being a chocolate fiend) could not resist it and had it opened and half eaten before I could get a photo of it! At least I did get a little bit of it!! 

Onto my sunglasses... They are gorgeous! Blue and silver speckles through the frame and the shape suits me really well! I had just got a pair of Ray Bans when I was on holiday, which I love so much, but I think it will be nice having a pair that are so different to them to switch around with! I am so ready for the sun (if it comes to Glasgow any time soon!!).

So as I said, my dad had gave me some money to go and buy some things for myself!! I picked up a new Fossil purse, I love Fossil and would love a leather bag from in thee, but I wanted to spend my money on other things too, so I picked up this lovely cobalt blue purse!! I do have another Fossil purse that I used everyday for over a year and it is still in amazing condition!! I know this one too will last me a long time! The leather is so soft too! 

The inside of my purse has all the space I need! The lining inside is cute too, I am in love! 

I also went to Game and bought myself some more games for my new 3DS! I have the first two Professor Layton games so I thought I would complete the set and buy the two I didn't have! I can't wait to get playing them! I absolutely love mind puzzles like the ones in these games!! Right now though I am preoccupied with playing Pokemon White 2, which I bought along with the guidebook! I know some of you girls out there will love Pokemon too! I used to play the older games with my Gameboy when I was younger and I do have Pokemon HeartGold for my old Nintendo DS! I have missed playing Pokemon so much! And yes I did turn 23 and not 12, but I don't care, hehe!!

So there we go! A bit of a different haul than most, I think! Let me know what you think of the sunglasses and also what you think I should buy with my Debenhams gift card... I'm obviously thinking make up here girls!!

Birthday Fun!!

Hi girls!! So as some of you may know it was my birthday on Sunday!! This of course meant loads of fun!

So on Saturday night I went out with two of my best friends and we had an absolutely awesome night!! It was one hilarious night!! We went to Tiki Bar, which I have been to before, and loved it, so I thought I would go there for my birthday night out!! We had too many cocktails, which are basically alcohol in this place (oops!). I love the theme of the bar though, as it is obviously a Hawaiian type place, with straw chairs and palm tree bar, its pretty cool! We were sitting at the bar all night and the bar men were hilarious!!

We left Tiki Bar at quarter to 12, and wandered up to Kushion! My name was on the guest list, so after the bouncer gave me a birthday countdown (we got there at one minute to 12!) we sauntered straight in! The dress I wore was from River Island and you can see it better in this photo...

So we danced around for the rest of the night and then were among the last to leave the club! I had such an awesome night out!! So much laughter and dancing, just what I wanted!! Woohoo!  Robert was out with his friends too so we met up with him for something to eat and all got a taxi together! Our taxi driver  was quite hilarious too! When we got home at half 4, Robert decided to give me my Birthday present, so it wasn't until 5am that I was actually in bed!! 

So on my actual Birthday my parents gave me some goodies and then I chilled for a while, because I had the day off work! Robert then took me out for a surprise and I had no idea where we were going for ages, he even went a completely different road to try and make it harder for me to know where we were going!!! Until we were nearing Edinburgh and I realised he was taking me to the Krispy Kreme shop!!! It has only been open for a couple of months, so I had not been yet! I had been going on about going there for ages so it was a nice surprise!

We were in the queue for an hour... Haha, it was quite funny really and also quite cool to be part of something so new and different! We ended up getting a box of original doughnuts and a box of our own choice!! Oh man they were so good and have all been eaten now! We also got slushy type juices, which were so refreshing, I picked the mango flavour!

Afterwards, we went back home and went out for dinner with my mum and dad! It was a lovely day and the dinner was yummy too!! I will be doing a Birthday haul of what I got soon!

When Mums Away The Cats Will Play!

Hello everyone! My name is Flo...

And I am Alice, nice to meet you all!

Shake paws!

Flo: Since our mum is away on holiday and has left us for over two weeks (!!), we thought we could take over the blog for the day! 

Alice: We know mum loves her blog, so we were very intrigued as to what it was! I think we love it too!!

Flo: It is also a special day today, because it is our Birthday and we are 2 today!! That makes us big girls so we know how to work this computermibob. 

Alice: Mum is always pointing a flashy thing at us and wants us to stay still! We are not very good at that!! But sometimes we are very good models. She says she does it to put them on her blog, because we are just so cute! 

Flo: Although sometimes we end up looking like little devils with shiny eyes!

Alice: There is a famous saying we have heard "when the cats away the mice will play", however I do not think our toy mice play because we just chew on their tails and pull out the stuffing! Hahaha! 

Flo: So anyway we took that saying and changed it (because we are so clever) so now that mum is away the cats will play...... On mums bloggy! Oh and also on the iPad! Hehe

Alice: Sounds like a good plan!

Flo: So today we are going to tell you about what we get up to, because we are so cool, we thought you should all know.

Alice: Well Mum goes to work everyday and leaves us by ourselves, we eat, play, poop and sleep.

Flo:  Mostly sleep!

Alice: Sometimes we play fight with each other and run around the house like crazy! It is very fun! 

Flo: Although we always kiss and make up at the end of it!

Alice: As soon as mum gets home we run down the stairs and meet her at the door!

 Flo: Then I will flop over right in mums way and wait until she scratches my belly!

Alice: Also we like to help mum hang up the washing, but mostly because we love the basket! 

Flo: Although I love playing! My most favourite toy ever is my mums old riding crop, which is really long and I just love chasing it all over the house!

Alice: When everyone goes to bed I usually always get cuddles from mum and I try to sit as close to her head as possible, then I purr and pad at her as if I was still a baby! I'm so tired, I wish she was here now!

Flo: And that is usually our day! We don't go outside, because we want to stay cosy inside and mum says it can be dangerous out there, but we like to look out the windows and especially watch and cackle at the birds!!

Alice: Ok I think we shall wrap this up now! I hope you all enjoyed our chatter and loved hearing about us and looking at all our photos!

Flo: I really hope we get some comments and if you all liked us then maybe we could come back soon!

A Birthday and NOTD #2

Hi girls!! I have got a Nails Of The Day for you today! But first of all i just wanted to wish my amazing Robert a big....

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!

Tehee!! He is going to be all grumpy that I told you guys that! He will probably be quite depressed today, because he doesn't like Birthdays any more, or so he says! I won't tell you his age because then he will be even sadder, but basically he is 5 years older than me (to find my age please look over to the right and down a little bit!) Hehe!! Bad Jen!! Don't worry Robert its just a wee bit of fun!!   Awww, he will be fine! Hehe

Any way to celebrate this happy (?! For me its happy!!)  occasion, I am going to post a couple of pictures of a little week away Robert and I took almost a year ago! We went to Palma in Majorca!  It feels like years and years ago we were there! It was just such a relaxing week of no worries, ice cream and sunshine!

Aww! Great memories!! Hope you enjoyed those wee photos Robert and of course readers! Hehe! So now onto my Nails Of The Day! I think the colour of my nails, match in nicely with the theme of Palma, which is bright and sunny! So here are my nails very bright and summery! Very unlike the weather that's going on in Glasgow at the moment!

I used two coats of Models Own Beach Party, from the Hed Kandi range! I absolutely love this colour! It makes me smile when I have it on my nails! Although my dad did wonder what on earth I had done to them! I replied you just don't know anything about fashion do you?! Hehe, he then just had a confused look on his face! I know this can sometimes get mixed reviews, as the colour is a hit or miss on your skin tone, but I love it! I got mine in Boots a while ago with a deal that was doing 2 polishes for £8, and I thought that was a great deal, as you get a large amount of polish in their bottles and for only £4 how can you complain?!

Everyone has to wish Robert a Happy Birthday now!! Hehe! He would probably like that very much!

Birthday Treats!

Hi! I turned 22 (hate this age!!) this year on the 7th of April! I do quite miss being 21 already! I was just going to do a post on what I got for my Birthday! Now I already mentioned that my dad put money towards my car for my birthday, so that was what I got from him. My mum got me an amazing bag for Aspinal of London!! If you haven't heard of Aspinal, then they are a high end retailer, who sell bags, jewellery and also homeware too and are known for their luxurious products! When I saw the box i was like oh goodness! I was scared to open it!! It was a light gold clutch bag for nights out and special occasions and its soooo pretty!! Just wait till you see the pictures!! She also got me a bag charm from Aspinal too which is very cute but I'm scared to use it in case it breaks!! I don't know how resilient it will be! Haha! Photos below.

So it opens at the front and it comes with a key so you can lock it!! It also has a zip the full way along at the back so there's two compartments to the bag! I LOVE it!!

The pink and cream balls spell out love, just if your wondering! I can actually swap this bag charm with the gold tassel on the bag, so that's quite good!

My friends also got me some nice things (lucky Jen)!! A bag form oasis as I had bought a similar bag from Accessorize and all the lining came away, so I had to take it back and they remembered and got me this one instead! They also got me a wee cheeky bag of tablet from Thortons as I like it ALOT and some wee cat stickers, hehe! Another friend got me this cute wee trinket that says "All you need is love... and a cat", which is so true!! You can never lose out with a cat! Yay and I have two!! Photos below.

Now Robert didn't get me an actual present as such, but as we were going to Madrid on the weekend of my birthday, he paid for the flights and the hotel! Very generous of him!! We were going there because I actually had bought him football tickets for his Christmas! He had always wanted to go to the Bernabeu stadium, which is Real Madrids home ground and they were playing Valencia, who I know Robert liked! So it was fate that the game was to be on the day after my birthday! He also bought me a big birthday dinner!! Hehe, but more about our adventure in Madrid in a future post!!
