Snap 18: Nails Of The Day

Hi girls!

For the 30 day snap today I have a NOTD! My first proper go at nail art, yup I am wayyy behind on that trend!! I love the colors of the nail polishes I have used! The pink is an OPI polish called Suzi's Hungary Again!, the speckled effect is called Butterfly from Accessorize and the lilac is another OPI called You're Such a Budapest.

It was quite fun to do actually! I will definitely be trying out more designs and using different colours! The two OPI polishes came from a set called Euro Centrale collection, in case you girls are wondering! So this was the most interesting thing I did today! What did you girls do today? Are you taking part in Sprinkle of Glitter's challenge?

Collective Haul - Make Up, Clothes and More!

Hi girls!

I have a treat for you today! One huge haul, including clothes, make up and shoes! Yay! I got these things last week, mostly for my trip to London and they all definitely came in handy! I firstly went to Boots. I needed a new concealer, as my other one was on its last legs. I picked up my favourite; the famous Collection Lasting Perfection concealer, which is amazing!

The next thing I wanted to pick up was a powder from Soap & Glory. I had watched a video by Essiebutton, where she proclaimed her love for it and I had to try it!! Believe me when I say it did not disappoint! I am always scared to try powders, as I worry they will dry my skin out. This one is translucent, so is used really only for blotting! On a night out this is your best friend! Its £12, but well worth it!

Of course I needed a powder brush in order to use my new purchase  so I picked up the Real Techiques Powder brush! It's so lovely and soft and the powder applied so easily! This brush is £12.99.

I then went into River Island and I bought my first pair of high waisted jeggings, or tube pants as River Island call them. They are super comfy and I love the colour of these ones too. They are fit my shape so well, I can see me buying more pairs! These were £35.

I saw a gorgeous circle scarf (you know I love my scarfs!), which is a peach colour with neon pink peace signs all over it and I had to have it!! Its so cute! This was £13.

Lastly from River Island I spotted this rose gold snakeskin effect iPhone 5 case. I only have one case for my phone so far and thought this one was so pretty! I love the rose gold color, and the photo is not true to its actual colour by the way, its so pink!! For £8 I couldn't resist, its just too pretty!

I headed to New Look next to pick up some tops and I think I did very well! Firstly I picked up a striped top, which is peplum and also a dip hem. Its really nice one and goes well with my new jeggings! For £8.99 I couldn't complain! I love how the stripes go in a different direction on the bottom part, its really flattering!

Next up is a crop top, something I never really thought I would wear, but I loved it! You will see a photo later in the week, but it is a loose fitting t-shirt, which has a Aztec burnout design. Its a really nice length too, not too short! I will definitely be buying more crop tops for summer (if we get any more nice days that is!). This one was £9.99.

Lastly in the clothes department I got this pretty pink/coral cardigan, which is draped at the front and short at the back. The back and shoulders as you can see has a lace design. Its really cute flowers and goes really well with both tops I bought. It was £17.99.

I then bought a new pair of heels! These ones are so cute and I know I will wear them on loads of nights out! I love really high heels and these are great, because the strap keeps your foot in and makes it more comfy to walk in! They have a lace effect all over and were £29.99.

I then quickly popped into Accessorize to pick up a new pair of my favourite ballet pumps ever! I have had over 5 different pairs of these all in different colours, because they are just so comfy and not to mention cute! I think the secret with these is the elastic that goes around the edge of the shoe and also the fact that they are real leather. They really mold to the shape of your feet. They are £32, but are so worth it and sometimes they are £10 off deals!

When I got home from my shopping trip, my mum had arrived home from a week away down south. She got me a little present, which is so cute, I just had to show it as part of my haul! A set of four mini OPI nail polishes in gorgeous colours! A pretty teal, a corally pink, a lavender and a molten gold. Thanks mum! Perfect for summer!

Hope you have enjoyed my haul! Did you see anything you like? What have you picked p in the past few weeks?
