By the way this is it sitting on my bed, just for taking photos, for better lighting etc! So you can clearly see the three drawers being used and the items on the top, most of which are either too big to fit in or there is not enough room in the specific drawer for it, so are for the moment just sitting on top! Then to the side, there is just a little beaded trinket box that I keep some products in too!! More on this later! I will just add firstly, any item that is typed with a link will take you to a review on the product or a post that contains swatches of the product! And there you have it, sitting pride of place on my dressing table, which is also a chest of drawers!! My small make up collection! Oh and also in the photo above I have some brushes mostly from the Body Shop, Benefit tweezers, a pencil sharpener and eye lash curlers! Now I will just add that I wrote this post just to show all of my readers, I did not type this post to brag, although my collection is so small I don't know why anybody would think I would be able to brag about it!! Also all of this make up was either bought by me or given to me as a gift ie. from my parents or Robert! Hopefully you all liked this post and it gave you a good insight into the make up I have and what make up products I like to go for!! If you would like to see a certain item up close or you would like a review on it then let me know! Also if you click here then you might be able to find swatches of the products if I have bought them whilst I have been doing my blog, which is a lot of these items by the way!! Let me tell you one thing blogging is so not good for your bank balance!! Haha that is why I am on a spending ban!

Ok so let me know if you would like to see a review on anything that does not already have one! Also let me know if you have done one of these posts as I would love to have a read at it!!

No7 Intelligent Colour Foundation Review

Hi Girls! I have got a review for you today!

I have been using No7's Intelligent Colour Foundation on and off for years now. There is something about it that just keeps making me come back to it! I thought it was about time I reviewed it for you!

What No7 says:

"Ever so clever colour...Take away the guess work with a foundation that adjusts to match the colour of your skin for a sheer, natural finish."

"No7 Intelligent Colour Foundation is velvety soft, easily blended and so amazingly light you'll forget it's even there. With SPF 6 and vitamins A and E to protect and care for your skin, without blocking your pores."

No wonder I have been using it for years!! I really recommend this foundation! If you are looking for something that is light on the skin then this is for you! You do not feel it at all once it is on! I am always worrying about what I put on my face, because of the dry skin I get from my eczema, as I do not want to put something really heavy on that cakes all the dry skin up (lovely I know!), but honestly, I have no worries about this! As it is so light it does not affect dryness at all.

I would say this is a liquid foundation, but as you are applying it it turns into a more mousse like consistency, which obviously again adds to the lightness of the foundation itself. I would say though that if you are looking for a full coverage, then this probably isn't for you. The coverage of this foundation is as suspected quite sheer. It can be built up to become light to medium coverage if desired though. Although there is a reason that this foundation is sheer and this is the intelligent part! Look at the product below on my hand and remember this is the "liight" colour choice...

Yea I know what you guys are thinking!! Why on earth is she putting that on her face?!?! Haha, do not fear this is a clever foundation! From the photo you can also see the more mousse like consistency I was talking about! This foundation somehow adjusts to my skin tone, so that I do not look like I have a mud face mask on my face!! You can see the photo below that half of the swatch is slightly blended in to show you the foundation at its work!

For a while I did actually use the "medium" colour option and it still worked well on my complexion! Oh and there is only three options for this, light, medium and dark. I think that that does kind of prove that this foundation is magic!! As No7 is not scared to just put three colour options out there, as most people would think that it wouldn't match them! I can guarantee that it will! I don't know how it is able to do what it does, but it works and it actually for me does cover up any imperfections that my skin has, but I don't think that I have a lot of blemishes on my skin, so that is maybe why. Also I might add, that when I use this foundation I only use an under eye concealer, as there is no need for it anywhere else!

Ok so I will use the photo below as an example as to how great this product is! The left hand side of my face (the side where you can see the pink of my t-shirt) has got the foundation lightly applied to it and the right hand side has nothing except primer. I may also add that the only make up I have on in this photo is eye brow pencil and primer and then obviously the half with the foundation on it!

I guess the only way you can see that I am actually wearing foundation is due to the slight redness of my skin just under my nose and on my chin on the opposite side of my face. I told you that you girls should definitely not be put off by the colour that comes out of the tube! It blends into your skin amazingly and hides any discolouration that shouldn't be there along with it! I feel that when I have put it on slightly heavier that I still get the lightness of applying it, but also a flawless finish with a fresh tone to my skin! I guess when I first put it on my face, I feel as if it hasn't done anything to my skin, but I think it just takes a couple of minutes for the effects to kick in!

I think this light coverage is great for any skin type too! Obviously I have told you girls it is great for dry skin and not drying it out any more, but also I do not see why it wouldn't be good for combination or even oily skin! I use this all the time and even on nights out, where I am in a really hot hot club and it doesn't move from my face! I obviously do use a good primer though! So this is a must for oily skin! I couldn't recommend this highly enough girls! Let me know if any of you have tried this foundation or in fact any of the other No7 foundations! You can get the Intelligent Colour Foundation at Boots for £15.50!

What Would I Buy Again First?

Hi girls!

I'm going to do a post that I read over at Louise's blog, Confessions of a Secret Shopper!! You can find her post here! Basically, if someone (someone who must be absolutely horrible!!) stole all your make up, what would be the first 10 things that you would replace!? I thought this was a great idea, so here are my 10!!

The Stila In The Garden eye shadow palette is one that I love! I posted a review on it when I was doing a give away to win one! Find my review here. It has some amazing colours, that I have not owned before this! Cost - £25

No 7 Intelligent Colour foundation, which is light on the skin and warms my skin tone up nicely! I love wearing it either during the day or on a night  out! I will be doing a review on this foundation soon, so keep an eye out if your interested! Cost - £15.50

Benefit Lemon Aid, now I wear this all the time! It is a great eyelid primer and makes eye shadows stay on a lot longer and I also will just put this on my eye lids when I'm not wearing any eye shadow, as it makes my eyes brighter! Cost - £16.50

The next thing I would replace would definitely be my Yves Saint Laurent Touche Eclat, which is great for highlighting. I use this on the inner corner of my eye and also sometimes down the centre of my nose! Cost - £25

I would of course definitely buy my favourite blush again, Benefit Sugarbomb! I use this a lot, the colour pay off is amazing and you get a lot of product in that box! I wrote a review on this product a little while ago, find it here! Cost - £23.50

Now onto probably my most used kit for nights out, Benefit's Smokin' Eyes Kit! This is just amazing to create the perfect smoky eye! Within the kit you get three eye shadows, black eye liner, eyebrow wax, eye bright, a pair of mini tweezers and a double ended brush! Cost - £28.50

Next up would be my most beloved mascara! Maybelline's One By One Volume Express! One word: amazing!!! Cost - £8.49

Benefit's Posie Tint, which I normally just use as a lip tint. It's just this amazing barbie pink colour and stays on your lips all day and night! I always wear it on a night out under lip gloss, as it just stays there and in all my photos I always have colour on my lips! Cost - £24.50

The last two things I would repurchase would definitely be my two YSL Golden Glosses. I absolutely adore these! they are just so shimmery and girly! If you were wanting a luxury lip gloss then this is it! Cost - £22 each

Golden Gloss number 4 Golden Fuchsia

Golden Gloss number 3 Golden Rose

Ok so those were my 10 make up items that if a pesky robber stole my make up collection, hen I would  buy these items first! Although I really hope nobody steals my make up because I think my 10 total up to be a very large number!!! Eeeek!! just added it all up and it comes to £210.99! Oh very scary! What a lot of money! Ok so it would take me a very long time to buy these! Haha! if you want to do this post then let me know and I will come and check out your 10! I quite enjoyed picking the make up!! Thanks for reading!

Boots Haul!

Eeep! I caved again! Although this time I was in Boots. I knew I had wanted to get a couple of things, but maybe not this much! Hehe, here is what I bought!
I picked up another Tropical dry shampoo by Batiste! I love this stuff and it smells so yummy!

I picked up these stick on nails and I have been hearing all these good reviews on them! I think I will do one myself about them after I have a shot at wearing them! I think these ones are really cute! They are called Over the Moon.

I think everybody must have this by now! It is just so easy to use and so simple! I love it already!!

I got two Models Own Nail polishes for £8, which I think is a good deal! I picked up the oh so famous colours that are Indian Ocean and Beach Party! I love how Beach Party looks on your nails! I absolutely love this colour!

Yes another Lip Butter! Oops! This one is called Sugar Frosting. Its a very pretty light pink nude colour and I love it! As you know Revlon lip butters are just so moisturising on the lips, which I love!

Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stains. Now these are what I went into Boots for! I have seen a few reviews on them and I just fell in love! I picked up the colours Rendezvous and Darling. i will do a full review on them soon!

The last thing I bought was something I needed! The No 7 Intelligent Colour Foundation. Its a light foundation, which is good for me because I don't want anything to heavy on my skin!

Have you been tempted by the new Revlon balm stains? I am so pleased I got mine!
