What Has Been Going On In Its a Blondes Life?!

Hi girls!!

It feels so lovely to be back on this blog! This is the longest time I have not posted! Way back in November, I didn't post for a week, but this time it was just a little bit longer! Anyway, here I am! And I am back with lots of good stuff for you!

Firstly, I would like to say a hello to all my new readers! Hello! So glad you have joined this little space of fun!

I have been a little AWOL on my blog recently, which really upsets me. You will have only noticed for the past week with my lack of posting, but also a couple of weeks before that, I just felt a bit down with my blog and in a bit of a blogging rut not wanting to type. I had plenty of things to type about, just not wanting to actually type it! However all is back to normal and I am feeling happy again being back on my blog!

On another note, my laptop decided to break! The screen somehow cracked and now it is away getting a new screen! I am missing it quite a lot! So now its going to be blogging on my lunch break and also trying to get a hold of Robert's laptop at night when needed! Hehe.

Ok so as for June, my Instagram was not very lively, but here are my snaps from the month!

A yummy fruit salad for lunch! - My little Flo - New bed sheets from Ikea, of course they have to contain pink! - At the Capital Summertime Ball! - Flo is oh so pretty!! - My little Alice and her bear face, just way to cute!!

A TGI Friday's dinner, we are so healthy!! - Have a drink with Robert! - My Alice, black and white - Driving to Silverstone, at half 5 in the morning. Roads were dead!!!

Snap 25: Kittens!

Hi girls!

On Saturday, I showed you a lazy afternoon photo. I thought I would show you another photo of the lazy cats, except when they were slightly smaller, just a teeny bit cuter and a bit more fluffy! When I saw this photo, I found it hilarious that Flo was using her sister as a pillow back then and today its the other way around! Try not to get too excited girls, although every time I see a kitten photo I let out a "squeeeee". They grow up so fast.. I wish they would stay like this for even just a little bit longer!

Just too cute!!! I hope you girls are all well! Oh and if anyone has cute kitten photos, I would love to see them!

Snap 22: A Lazy Afternoon

Hi girls!

I hope you have had a lovely Saturday! I had a very relaxing morning and early afternoon (before I had to go to work!)! I love it when I can just chill out with my girls, who both come and join in, as laziness (and sleeping of course) is what they are best at!

I love this photo so much! My two little girlies totally chilled out enjoying the warmth from the sun coming in the window. I find it hilarious that Alice is using Flo as a pillow for two of her legs!! I can't believe how fast this 30 Day Snap has gone! We are nearly in the last week!!

Snap 16: Father's Day!

Hi girls!

Today has been Father's Day! I snapped this cute shot of my awesome dad holding my little Alice. My dad is the only person who can lift Alice up without her scratching your eyes out to get away. I thought this was a great photo for today to celebrate my dad! He was definitely the person I got my cat loving (and animal loving) genes from!

It is his Birthday tomorrow too, which means sometimes Father's Day and his Birthday are the same day! My dad is definitely the person I am closest to besides Robert and is also a best friend! I am so lucky to have a dad like him! Love you so much Dad!

Snap 14: Jungle Flo

Hi girls! 

Little Flo joined me in the kitchen today for a little sit down. I was at the breakfast bar and Flo was on the window sill.... Sitting along side my mum's dinosaur plant, sticking her head through it to see out the window! Along with the plant and its shadow, she looks like shes among lots of bushes and is exploring through her own little imaginary jungle! I thought it made such a cute photo that I had to take a snap (or 20!) of it!

Snap 11: My Alice Cat

Hi girls!

I thought this was hilarious! Alice trying to get all the sun she can, by lying out on the window sill! She's just so cute!The window sill is one of Alice's favourite places. She loves sitting listening and watching birds fly past the window. She cackles away at them (I'm sure all cat owners know what I mean when I say that word!). I love it when you see a black cat in the sun, you realise that they are not actually black at all!!

Alice always misses me the most when I go away. When I woke up this morning, she was curled up right by my head cuddling into me and purring so loud! It was so cute!

Snap 8: My Flo Cat

Hi girls!!

As I'm driving down to London today, I will leave you girls with one of my gorgeous kitties! Flo is my cheeky tabby cat. In this photo she is about to settle down for a little nap. She is padding her favourite pillow (my Bullseye pillow I got from Disneyland). Cats will pad when they are content, it is something that they do when they are kittens and they pad their mummy cat for milk. Flo pads and purrs her pillow, it soothes her and will also relax her. Its so cute to watch!

Instagramming In May

So another month has passed and I completed what I set out to do in last months Instagram post! I set myself a little challenge to post one photo everyday for the month and I did it! Yay!! So here is a little catch up of what I have been up to this month!

Some blue skies! Flo enjoying her view - A Revlon 3 for 2 offer! I could not resist them! See the swatches here - I had two lazy cats that morning! Hehe - I got a new bag from River Island! At first I wasn't sure, but now I love it! - Pretty Alice! Love my little black cat! - Monday night pub quiz and we won too!

A cute quote inside my Erin Condren Planner - On the hunt for houses!! No luck yet, but keeping our fingers crossed that something will come up soon! - A drive through the countryside - Flo has such huge whiskers!! Hehe, my pretty girl - A OOTD for you girls! All from Monsoon! - A new Accessorize palette! A review with looks will  be coming soon!

A gloomy and wet day... Alice was not too impressed! - I love my Abercrombie and Fitch Hoodie, so bright for spring/summer! - Playing my 3DS after work. Its onto Professor Layton and the Lost Future now! - Packing for my little trip to London! - Look what Robert and I found! A "Jen" Diet Coke!! We actually found two that weekend, both in England! No Jens in Scotland so far! - We nipped into the Trafford Centre on the way home, for a TGI's no less! Yum! 

Robert and I are reading Dan Brown's new book, Inferno, together. So far it is awesome and very interesting!! Can't wait to finish it now! - Breakfast time for the girls. - Blue skies!!! Woohoo, not a cloud in the sky! - Having a read through my Harry Potter souvenir guidebook I got from the Making Of Harry Potter Tour! I wish we had a Gilly Hicks in Scotland! I love that store... Their bras are amazing! - Eating my Honeydukes lollipop! Yum!

Thankful

I am thankful for...

Having Robert in my life, who is my absolute rock and love of my life.

My little cats, Alice and Flo, who I absolutely dote on. My little precious ones, who make my life better by the bond we have.

My parents... They gave me the best childhood I could have ever asked for. I have a dad who is like a best friend and ok I don't get on with my mum all the time, but I know she loves me more than anything. I am so so thankful for having them as the best parents ever!!

My health. Ok so I have eczema (which has been behaving itself very well this past year!!), I sneeze all the time and my shoulders are sore a lot, but I never need to take any medicine and I don't ever feel ill or unwell. So I am thankful for that!

Being happy! I have said it before, but hey I can say it again... I feel just so so content with my life right now, things are going great! So I am very thankful for that!!!

Instagramming In April

Hi girls!

So seeing as I do now have Instagram (@jenstar_blonde) and I am now actually posting photos on the regular, I thought it was about time I started sharing some Instagram photos on my blog! He's 3! - a late birthday present from a friend. An awesome zebra scarf and a pretty silver necklace

When Mums Away The Cats Will Play!

Hello everyone! My name is Flo...

And I am Alice, nice to meet you all!

Shake paws!

Flo: Since our mum is away on holiday and has left us for over two weeks (!!), we thought we could take over the blog for the day! 

Alice: We know mum loves her blog, so we were very intrigued as to what it was! I think we love it too!!

Flo: It is also a special day today, because it is our Birthday and we are 2 today!! That makes us big girls so we know how to work this computermibob. 

Alice: Mum is always pointing a flashy thing at us and wants us to stay still! We are not very good at that!! But sometimes we are very good models. She says she does it to put them on her blog, because we are just so cute! 

Flo: Although sometimes we end up looking like little devils with shiny eyes!

Alice: There is a famous saying we have heard "when the cats away the mice will play", however I do not think our toy mice play because we just chew on their tails and pull out the stuffing! Hahaha! 

Flo: So anyway we took that saying and changed it (because we are so clever) so now that mum is away the cats will play...... On mums bloggy! Oh and also on the iPad! Hehe

Alice: Sounds like a good plan!

Flo: So today we are going to tell you about what we get up to, because we are so cool, we thought you should all know.

Alice: Well Mum goes to work everyday and leaves us by ourselves, we eat, play, poop and sleep.

Flo:  Mostly sleep!

Alice: Sometimes we play fight with each other and run around the house like crazy! It is very fun! 

Flo: Although we always kiss and make up at the end of it!

Alice: As soon as mum gets home we run down the stairs and meet her at the door!

 Flo: Then I will flop over right in mums way and wait until she scratches my belly!

Alice: Also we like to help mum hang up the washing, but mostly because we love the basket! 

Flo: Although I love playing! My most favourite toy ever is my mums old riding crop, which is really long and I just love chasing it all over the house!

Alice: When everyone goes to bed I usually always get cuddles from mum and I try to sit as close to her head as possible, then I purr and pad at her as if I was still a baby! I'm so tired, I wish she was here now!

Flo: And that is usually our day! We don't go outside, because we want to stay cosy inside and mum says it can be dangerous out there, but we like to look out the windows and especially watch and cackle at the birds!!

Alice: Ok I think we shall wrap this up now! I hope you all enjoyed our chatter and loved hearing about us and looking at all our photos!

Flo: I really hope we get some comments and if you all liked us then maybe we could come back soon!
