So for me I decided to go for pinks, as this is what love makes me think of! I went for a dreamy smokey eye, light pink cheek and a cute sparkly pink lip! Here is my look:

So let me know what you think of my look for the challenge this month! I know some people are scared of putting pink on their eyes, but hopefully I have shown here that you can totally do it and still look lovely! No pink eye see girls?!

Also do you like my hair? I got it cut on Thursday, which meant I got back my side fringe! Yay, it had completely grown out from the last time I got my hair cut! Out For Cocktails Plus I'm Now Instagramming!!

Hi girls!!

So at the weekend just gone, I was out on a night out for the first time this year!! It was a friends of Robert and I's Birthday. We went out celebrating at a bar in Glasgow called Tiki Bar, which is  Hawaiian based. I couldn't wait to go when I found out we were going there, because one I have never been before, two I had heard their cocktails were amazing and three it is modelled around Hawaii, a place I have been and loved, so therefore intrigued to see if they had got the setting right!

So first up, I have obviously got to show you my make up! Here is my FOTN!

So when we arrived at Tiki, we were met with a table full of cocktails!! The first one I had was called a Blue Hawaiian, which Robert and I actually had when we were in Hawaii! You can see a photo of that one here! We then ended up getting sharing cocktails, which are called Volcanos. I have no idea what was in it, haha! You can see two in the photo below and in the middle of the bowl there is a little well, which is filled with alcohol and set on fire!! It looked so cool! Sadly the camera never picked the blue flames up. So you end up drinking the cocktail up, while the middle bit is on fire! I just made sure to keep my hair away from it!! Haha!

It was a really good night, filled with laughs, table football (yes they have one in the bar!) matches (or foozeball to you Americans!) and more cocktails! Its a great place for a night out  and I loved being out with Robert, which is something we don't usually do together! 

We left Tiki bar at just after 12 and headed over to another bar, which was open later, called Slouch. We had a couple of drinks in there, with us all slouched (hehe) on some couches! Two of the guys ended up having a hilarious dance off!! We left there about half 1 and went to go get some food and got a taxi home! So it was a really good night and I know the birthday girl, had a really great time!! I think the alcohol and the excitement about the nearing holiday made Robert and I (ok especially Robert) just a little hyper! Hehe!

Happy chappies all excited about the holiday!

Ok and one last thing before I end this post! I wanted to let you all know that I have Instagram!! At last! I have taken my time getting into the real world of a proper hi-tech phone and then proceeded to take my time to get Instagram!

What's In My Bag? #2

Hi girls! Hope you all had a good weekend!

So I have had a couple of requests to do a "What's in my Bag?" post. You will see by the title that this will be in fact the second time I have done one! The first time I wrote this post was way back in May, when I was still very much a newbie! You can read that post here, you will also notice that I sill have some of the things that were in my bag now! 

Ok, so I am using a River Island bag, that I got in January. I did a post here if you want to take a closer look at it!

So in the front zipped compartment I keep my iPhone 5 and it just has a pink silicon case on it, just a cheap one from Tesco. I also keep the earphones, which came with the iPhone (and I have not used yet!), my keys for the office and my car key and house keys. I have got an owl and toucan key rings from Accessorize, an Hawaii key ring (from Hawaii lol) and also a cat key ring, which I have had for years and years and have no idea where it came from, maybe a museum because it is like and Egyptian cat!

Now onto the large middle section of my bag! I have a bottle of water, my "carry around with me" Canon camera and its pink case, a receipt, my River Island purse (click here to see it in more detail) and a Waterstones voucher that I still haven't used, which I got for Christmas! My favourite thing in my bag would definitely be my Erin Condren Life Planner (click for review), which I take everywhere with me and absolutely love it!!

So in the little secret zippy pocket, I keep my Hawaii mirror, a pen, my memory stick and yes a tampon. We ALL have them in our bags ladies come on, there is no need to be embarrassed by it! Hehe.

In the back zipped compartment of my bag I keep essential things, I may need throughout the day. A brush that cleans your clothes, a lip balm, a nail file, a hair clip, my Diprobase cream (in case my skin gets dry) and a tissue holder, which I was given by Helen from Eat Enjoy Live, when we took part in a Bloggers Secret Santa!

Who inspires you to blog?

I started to read blogs probably around November 2011 when I some how stumbled upon Sprinkle Of Glitter. So I guess I would say that Louise definitely made me intrigued about blogging, just from her variety of posts. Although I do get inspired everyday by reading lots of different blogs and I get lots of ideas for my posts from them too! Here are a few I love reading Couture Zoo,  Fleur De Force, Helene In Between, Made Up Of Little Things and Shades Of Grey and a Pinch Of Pink.

What made you want to have a blog?

I loved the thought of having a place where I could share all my thoughts and feelings. Also to share my interests to people who have the same interests (like make up!). I wanted a place where I could write up any adventures that I had had and for people to enjoy reading about them. 

When did you start blogging?

I started my blog in April 2012! Its nearly been a year and I love it!

Why did you start?

I started blogging after a little rough patch, feeling a bit down and also a little bit of boredom, I thought I would share my adventures that I had been having, which you can see if you go all the way to the beginning of my blog!! I am so glad I did start it though, as it is now a big part of my life and I have found a hobby, which I love. Also the blogging community is just amazing and I have also made some friends through it too!
