My Olympics Day 1!

What an amazing three days I have just had!!! Robert is just desperate to go back already! Trying to get even more tickets! Hehe!! Our day on Thursday started very early, 4am to be precise!! By the time we left the house it was 5am and we were very excited for our drive all the way down to London!

Our first event was the Canoe Slalom, we weren't really sure what to expect. It started at 1.30pm, so we had plenty of time to get to the Lee Valley White Water Centre, which is in the North of London. We were super excited after our 6 hour drive down and surprisingly not tired at all after only 2 hours sleep! There was no parking at the event, so we had to park in a multi-storey car park a 20 minute walk away from the event. Here is me in the car park below, you can just see the venue to the left of my head a way in the horizon. See that long grey looking thing, well those are the stands and you can almost see the flags along the top of it! Haha we were super excited!

It was a lovely day and we had great weather throughout! So we had a brilliant day. It was a great walk along a canal to get to the venue and it was only when we got to the end of the walk when we realised what actually made the event work! There was a lot of security, which obviously we didn't mind and the game makers were amazing!! They were great at creating an amazing atmosphere!! When we got in we were completely shocked, I think. The place was amazing and huge!! I don't think we had a clue!!

Scarf - River Island
Tshirt - River Island
Cardigan - New Look
Bag - Paul's Boutique
Jeans - River Island

The stand above was the one we could see from the car park with all the flags along the top!! Another point to make is the price of food and drinks inside the event venues... Very expensive. For a bottle of Diet Coke, £2.60! Yup and we bought loads of them throughout the three days! They are cheeky because you cannot take in any liquids to the events. Although there are free water Fountains to fill up bottles with along with a very long queue!! When we got to our seats, we were super impressed with the course! It was just astounding!! We were speaking to man that was sitting in front of us and he was the project manager when the centre was being built!! He was saying that everyone would be amazed as to what actually went into building the course! I wasn't surprised at all!! Hehe.

So we got amazing seats! We got to see the Semi Final and the Final of the Women's K1 and the Men's C2 events. These stand for Kayak single and Canoe doubles, basically. I got some great photos of them going round the course! It looked so so difficult!! I think you would need so much strength in your arms, as the water is going so fast and you have to go through all the gates the right way. Semi Finals:

Sadly the British entrant in the K1 didn't get through!

However both of the C2 entrants got through, with one leading the table! The stands were completely full and everyone was super excited, which lead to loads of Mexican waves travelling all round the stands loads of times! It was great fun!!! Ok so then onto the Finals!

Yup! I was there to see Britain's two teams win Gold and Silver!! What a moment!! The whole crowd was going mental!! Robert and I were just so shocked and in awe that we were there! Seriously I cannot describe how it felt that day! So proud!!

Hehe, ticket well worth it!!

Ahhh what a day!! Totally amazing! After this, we went back to the car and drove over to our hotel in Slough. It was in Slough, because the next day we had a rowing event on the Friday morning and so wanted to be really close by for that! We ended up getting a cheeky Dominos pizza for our dinner and ate it in our room! We were so tired!! A good sleep was definitely had and I think I fell asleep at around 10pm, which is the earliest I have been asleep for months and months!

My next day at the Olympics will be up tomorrow!! Hope you enjoy reading and looking at all the photos!

Photo 411!

Hi girls! I'm linking up with Erin from Shades of Gray and a Pinch of Pink! Its a great link up, so if you want to join in then go and take a peek at Erin's blog!

It's pretty straight forward and It's basically 10 different photos of yourself! Here are the categories:

1. Your Little Tyke Self - you as an infant/toddler/child
2. Your High School Self - duh
3. Your College Self - if you didn't go to college get creative
4. Your Right Now Self - a recent picture of yourself
5. Your Furry Friend - your real pet or what you'd die to have as a pet
6. Your Manly Friend - boyfriend/husband/gay bff/celeb crush
7. Where You Once Lived - a place you no longer live in
8. Where You Now Live - wherever your butt currently resides
9. What You Love - self explanatory
10. What You Miss - could be anything!

See Easy Peasy! Ok, here we go!

1. Teehee! I love this, I would have been around 2 and a half in this photo! I think I was a wee cutie! Don't you think?! The dress, was obviously how my mum dressed me, haha I don't know how big that underskirt was! Hehe!

2. Me in 6th year of school, which is the last year of high school for all you Americans! Hehe!

3. A photo taken while in University, not college! Hehe!

4. A recent photo of me taken before going to work at the shop last weekend! I have very minimal make up on here, basically under eye concealer, eye lid primer, eye brows pencilled in and lipstick!

5. Ok so it says Furry Friend, not friends, but oh well!! This is my babies, after giving each other a kiss or rather a clean! Hence why Alice has got her tongue stuck out and why Flo has got a look of content on her face! Hehe, super cute!

6. My lovely, amazing boyfriend of almost 4 years (!!!), Robert! I love this man the most unbelievable amount! He is my rock, my best friend and my soulmate! I'm so lucky to have a man like him! Please hurry up and put a ring on my finger, hehe! How about when we go to California!! Yay!

7. The house where I used to live, now when I lived here it didn't look exactly like this, the new owners put an extension put up into the roof. This is how it looked a couple of years ago! I lived in this little house up until I was 15! I absolutely loved living here! I never wanted to move at all, very good memories!

8. This is where I live now! It looks really small here actually, but it is for me a big house!! I didn't use to like living here, but I guess I have got used to it now! Hehe, and I cannot wait to move to my next house with Robert, hopefully soonish!

9. I really do hope its not bad to put a picture of my car here for a "what I love picture"! I do love Jenson A LOT! He is my very own car and he is just great! An amazing Ford Fiesta Zetec S, with a 1.6 engine, he is a fast little beast!

10. What I miss... Jess, I miss her. I will always miss her. She was my gorgeous little princess Jess! My perfect kitty, who I know is looking down on me wherever she is taking care of me!

Hope you girls enjoyed this post! You can still take part, as Erin is holding this link up until Monday!

Benefit Box O'Powders Review

Hi there! Today I'm going to do a review of my favourite blushers! Benefit have created an amazing range of powders that all have different uses!

So above are the amazing 8, five of which are best sellers!! These are all £23.50, so quite a hefty price tag. However you do get a lot or your money and I think the quality of these are well worth the price!!! I do only have two of them, but here is what Benefit has to say about these great powders:

Dandelion - This sheer ballerina pink finishing powder with a subtle shimmer takes your complexion from dull to radiant in an instant! To perk up throughout the day, dust on cheeks or all over face. Soft, natural-bristle blush brush included.
Hervana - Seeking a flush of enlightenment? Swirl on hervana... Our good karma face powder! Four complementary shades, lucky shell, divine peach, heavenly rose & berry delight - blend together perfectly for an orchid blossom blush. What goes around,,,comes around!
Hoola - Dust this soft bronze powder over your complexion for a healthy, natural looking "tan" year-round. No tanning bed necessary! Complete with soft, natural-bristle cheek brush. It's pure colour - no sparkle and no shine!
Sugarbomb - Swirl the 4 complimenting, shimmering shades of peach, soft plum, pink and rose powders together and sweep on cheeks for a natural radiance. It’s a sweet rush of gorgeous!
Dallas - Give your complexion a natural-looking glow that will leave you looking younger, healthier and more vibrant. This sheer wash of colour dusted across your cheeks, forehead and chin gives any complexion a healthy looking radiance... it's a glow that defies even Mother Nature. Complete with soft, natural-bristle cheek brush.
10 - Highlight and contour cheekbones in one sexy sweep with this satiny pink and bronze powder duo. They're a perfect 10! Complete with soft, natural-bristle cheek brush. Easy step-by-step contouring lesson included.
Coralista - Our warm coral-pink cheek powder is your "coral blush for a tropical flush"! This shade cheers up every skin tone in seconds.Complete with soft, natural-bristle blush brush.
Bella Bamba - Amplify cheekbones and create the illusion of sculpted features with this 3D watermelon blush. Laced with shimmering gold undertones, bella bamba takes eye-popping pretty to the third dimension...you'll never use traditional blush again!

I wish I could have all 8! The two I have are Dandelion and Sugarbomb! Although if I was to buy another one then my next one would be Hoola! They just go on so amazing, are extremely blendable and stay on all day and night!

So first up is Dandelion...

It is a gorgeous light pink colour and the picture third from the bottom is probably the best match of colour. You can see from the bottom picture what a a pretty light pink glow that it gives with a little shimmer too. The brush you get with it is slightly slanted and is very soft and I find is the best thing to apply the blush with! I love using this for during the day and it just gives a pretty wash of pink colour!

Now onto Sugarbomb! This has got to be my all time favourite blusher ever. I just love it to pieces. I always love to wear it on nights out, but it is also great for the day if applied lightly!

You get an amazing colour when all four of the colours are mixed together. I have never just used the colours alone, so I'm not sure what these would look like! You also get another great brush with this blush, which looks quite stubby, but is also very soft and great to apply with! I guess the colour it creates is quite "corally", which I love and it also has a lovely shimmer through it too!

Have you got any of these powders? I would love to know what you girls think of them! Do you think as highly of them as I do? Also what one do you think I should be getting next!? Hope you enjoyed reading!

NOTD #1

Hi girls!

So today I am doing my first Nails Of The Day! I used Nails Inc and Models Own nail polish. Here is the final result!

First off I used Nails Inc, Warwick Avenue, which is a warm baby pink colour. It's really pretty. I actually applied three coats to get this level of colour. I wanted it to be a full coverage. This would also be a great french manicure colour, if you used only one or even two coats. I would say Nails Inc nail polishes are my favourite, as I seem to own  more of them than any other brand. I only own a small amount of nail polish, as I don't paint my nails very often. I really do love this colour though!

Then I used Models Own Pink Fizz, which is a pink silver glitter. The pieces are all the same size and I would say are quite big. I think the top coat looks great with the Nails Inc colour underneath! This is with just one coat of the glitter and then a top coat on top. You could really build the glitter up to full coverage very easily, as a lot of glitter is picked up on the brush.

When I do paint my nails I always like a bit of "bling" I hardly ever just put one colour on my nails so this combination is great! I hope you girls like it and I guess my watch was a bit of inspiration with the pink face and sparkly gems around the edge! I will be doing more NOTD soon, I'm sure!
