Bedroom Beauty Challenge - January!

Hi girls!

You all should know how much I love Louise over at Sprinkle Of Glitter! Last week she came up with an awesome new interactive series called Bedroom Beauty Challenge, which basically means that each month Louise will come up with a concept for a make up look. We can take it any way we like and we have to create a fab make up look and then create a post showing photos of what we have done! Its great because you get to have a play around with different colours all in the privacy of your own room!

I just love the idea! So much fun! I am sure there will be so many people taking part!! Any way this weeks concept was Vivacious Vixen! If we split up the words, to me vivacious would mean bright, colourful and loud. Vixen can be taken in two ways; obviously a vixen is a female fox (love foxes!) and the other meaning would be a sultry maybe sexy women! Oooo! So without further a do here is the look I created for the challenge!

Primer: Smashbox Photo Finish Primer
Foundation: No7 Intelligent Colour
Highlighter: Benefit Sun Beam
Blusher: Benefit Sugarbomb
Bronzer: Gosh Bronzer

Under eye Concealer: Garnier Anti Dark Circles
Eye Brows: Benefit Instant Brow Pencil
Eye Primer: Benefit Lemon Aid
Inner Corner Highlight: Benfit Eye Bright
Base Eye Shadow: Urban Decay Naked 2 in Bootycall
Graduated Middle Eye Shadow: Mac Paint Pot in Rubenesque
Outer Corner Eye Shadow: Urban Decay Naked 2 in Snakebite
Eye Liner: Urban Decay Naked 2 in Busted (upper lash line and outer half of lower lash line) and Mac Paint Pot in Rubenesque (inner half of lower lash line)
Mascara: Maybelline One by One Volume Express
Brow Bone Highlight: Urban Decay Naked 2 in Bootycall

Lipgloss Base: Illamasqua Intense Lip Gloss in Mistress
Lipgloss Top: L'Oreal Glam Shine Miss Candy in Pink Treat

I really wanted to take the colours from a Red Fox, as I thought this would be a good starting point for the look! So I picked out the browns, oranges and the whites that the fox has all throughout his coat! I also wanted to go with this look, because I think most will go for red lips, whereas I chose to go for an orange one, as I think vivacious just screams orange to me! Hehe!

So I really hope you liked this look! I had so much fun planning out what products I was going to use and got my imagination working!! Such an awesome idea Louise, you are a star!! Cannot wait for next months theme! Let me know what you think of my vivacious vixen look below!!

Love, Jen x
