Holiday Ornament Swap Reveal!

Hi girls!!

So today is an exciting post! I took part in a Holiday Ornament Swap, which was hosted by two lovely ladies, Erin from Living in Yellow (love you Erin!!) and Jessah from Dreaming of Dimples, so a big thank you to you two lovelies for making this happen! It feels like agessss ago I signed up for this and now it is finally time to link up and reveal what I was sent!

So basically for you that sadly did not take part in this awesome swap, we signed up to send and receive ornaments for your Christmas tree! Although it wasn't quite a swap per say more a montage of flying ornaments going through the sky being sent and received by different people, more like a big daisy chain even! Or even better a huge Christmas garland! How fun!!

It was also especially exciting for me because when the list was created of who you were sending a decoration to, it turned out I was sending mine to the USA and then also receiving one from the USA! You all know how much I love America! Hehe. So I got to send a couple of cute ornaments to Arkansas to Jessica from My Bag of Sunshine. Who tells me she loves them, so I am super pleased!! Phew, I was worried, because I wasn't sure if American tastes are similar to the British tastes in terms of tree decorations! Haha, but after looking on her blog and her helpfully pointing out the posts she did last year on her tree decorations I got some ideas and sent her some cutesy ones, which I though would fit in nicely with her scheme! Hopefully she does a post to show you girls! Jessica? Hehe!

Ok now onto what I got! Woohoo! I was sent my decoration by the lovely Holly from Eight Six Eleven, who lives in Pennsylvania! Look what I got!!!

So yes I got my first Christmas card of the year! How cute! And now for the cutest ornament out!! Teehee!!!! When I opened the package i was just super excited t see a little penguin! I do love penguins a lot!! Also it is not really a style of bauble we get here in the UK so thank you very much for a first over here! I also love the chevrons!! I think it must have been a handmade decoration too (am I right Holly?). It was made by The Tiny Garden, which is an Etsy store. So to have a look at their fab decorations click here, I recommend a look!

How cute is he? Thank you Holly! And oh yea you will sadly not be seeing a decorated Christmas tree yet on this blog, because the first of December is considered very early to put your Christmas tree up in Britain, so you shall all have to wait a little while longer!! Can I also just add how cold has it gotten here this past week!! The warmest it has got I think has been 5 degrees C! The roads and pavements are constantly frosty! I think this winter is going to be a cold one!! So head on over to Erin's post, to see what everyone else got!! Remember to link up!!

Love, Jen x

Hey, I know I haven't sent you another e-mail with more places to visit when you guys come to Cali, but do you know what? I have a board on Pinterest devoted to this State, so I thought I could share it with you so maybe you could get to know some favorite restaurants and such ... What do you say? ;)
