Very YSL Make Up Palette Review

Hi girls!! I am really excited to post this!

So about three weeks ago I saw the most gorgeous gold Yves Saint Laurent palette on a British Beauty Blogger's post! You can check that post out here! i just thought it was just the most prettiest palette! Obviously though I just forgot all about it though as you can only get it in Duty Free and it would obviously be very expensive! So much to my surprise, when my parents got back from the Olympics, my mum handed me this box:

I honestly was so shocked!! How could she have known that I would have wanted this so bad?!! She must just know my taste!! Hehe. On another note though, it wasn't the gold palette that I had been expecting! Oh no it was so much better!! Pink! Woohoo! I think the Briish Beauty Blogger had thought there was a red palette coming out along with the gold, well I can now clarify, it was a pink one!

Oh so pretty!! Within this palette, you get four eye shadows, two lip colours, one cheek colour and thre brushes to apply them with, oh and also a huge mirror! Perfect for if your on the go! The colours in this palette also differ as to what you got in the gold palette! 

Ok so as you can see, the palette is just gorgeous! I still can't believe my mum got this for me! A total surprise and obviously super kind of her! Thanks mum! Hehe! Here is what YSL say about the colours:

Eyes:

Deep purple violet specked with gold

Soft and silky cashmere brown

Radiant luminous Parma pink

Shimmery “taffetas” pink

Complexion color:

Subtly dosed in pink pigments, this pastel blush adds sparkle to every natural skin color and may also be used as a highlighter to shape the cheeks.

Lips:

Chic emblematic fuchsia

Sparkling pink for a “healthy glow” effect

I am in absolute love! Hehe,  have already used some of the eye shadows and the blush. The blush is gorgeous and really buildable and the eye shadows blend so well. They are extremely soft to the touch and not powdery at all, instead are almost creamy. I haven't tried the lip colours yet, but I can't wait to! This is definitely going to be a go to palette for me!
